Amrutvel (अमृतवेल)

‘...या चित्रातल्या वेलीवर नाना रंगांची फुलं उमलली आहेत. प्रीतीही या वेलीसारखीच आहे, बाळ. प्रीती म्हणजे केवळ यौवनाच्या प्रेरणेतून उभ्दवणारी वासना नव्हे! त्या वासनेची किंमत मी कमी मानत नाही. सार्‍या संसाराचा आधार आहे ती! पण या वासनेला जेव्हा खोल भावनेची जोड मिळते, तेव्हाच प्रीती ही अमृतवेल होते. मग या वेलीवर करूणा उमटते, मैत्री फुलते. मनुष्य जेव्हा जेव्हा आत्मप्रेमाचे कवच फोडून बाहेरच्या विश्र्वाशी एकरूप होतो, तेव्हा - प्रीतीचा खरा अर्थ त्याला जाणवतो. या बाहेरच्या विश्र्वात रौद्र-रम्य निसर्ग आहे, सुष्टदुष्ट माणसं आहेत, साहित्यापासून संगीतापर्यंतच्या कला आहेत, आणि महारोग्याच्या सेवेपासून विज्ञानातल्या संशोधनापर्यंतची आत्म्याची तीर्थक्षेत्रं आहेत. ‘पण हीच प्रीती नुसती आत्मकेंद्रित झाली, आत्मपूजेशिवाय तिला दुसरं काही सुचेनासं झालं, म्हणजे मनुष्य केवळ इतरांचा शत्रू होत नाही; तो स्वत:चाही वैरी बनतो! मग या वेलीवर विषारी फुलांचे झुबके लटकू लागतात...’

Amrutvel is a love spreading book .The creeper in this picture is in full blossom, The many colourfull flowers are its proof. Love is also like this creeper. Love is not just the lust or desire inevitable at the young age. I do not consider desire as valueless, actually it supports the living all over. When this very desire is combined with feelings from the base of your heart then it takes the form of love and it becomes divine and resembles the nectar.

To understand the world outside we will need absolute involvement with it, then we will understand the diversity it has. The world is a combination of pleasant and dreadful nature, good and bad people, arts from literature to music and places of pilgrimages like the scientific inventions to nursing the patients suffering with leprocy. But if this love is self-centered then...? If it starts worshipping only the soul within it then...? Such person becomes the enemy of others and of himself. The vine then bears poisonous flowers.
