Aesop's Fables

The storyteller Aesop believed to have lived in ancient Greece. However, no one knows if he was an actual person or whether the collection attributed to his name has a wider authorship . There are many stories about Aesop, and he is mentioned in the writings of Greek historian Herodotus, and Aristotle. However, many believe that Aesop himself never existed and that the fables attributed to him have been written by many and collected over time in that name.
