Resident of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Aparna Patil is a doctorate in the discipline of Humanities. Also qualified as NET and SET, with a Masters degree in Commerce and in Management, she belongs to the rare category where one's profession encapsulates one's passion. She is passionate about teaching and she has been active in the field of education for more than two decades now. Her specialization is in the subject of Accountancy. She has coached a large number of students -undergraduates, post graduates and also the students pursuing professional courses like Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary in the subject. Her command over the subject has inculcated passion and interest for many of her students in the subject of Accountancy. The author has come up with a book in Accountancy which covers the basics of the subject creating a strong foundation towards dealing with the intricacies of the subject.
